Seafood pancake, kimchi jiggae, spicy beef soup, bbq chicken, actually everything was really good. Pity I forgot to buy a jar of their home made kimchi when I left. I also saw a lot of people order fried chicken.

This place just has the ultimate comfort stew. The stew is always served fresh and hot and one sip of the broth warms you right up. Also the side dishes could easily pass as a main dish with how good they taste, especially the japchae. I love that you can get unlimited refills for side dishes as well because the japchae is really that good. Other than the stews, the bibimbap is also really good especially with the sauce that they provide. it is a must try. the fried squid is also one of my familys long time favourites and it just goes so well with rice. Absolutely love eating here.

Sam O Jung was an awesome Korean feast from start to finish. The food came out in huge servings, full of flavor, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Everything we tried tasted great, but the Nara pork belly wraps were a real standout—perfectly cooked pork, fresh accompaniments, and so satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They went above and beyond by giving the kids complimentary Yakult, a small gesture that really made us feel looked after. On top of that, they managed to accommodate our large group of 11 people at the last minute, which was impressive and very much appreciated. The atmosphere was lively and comfortable, making it a great spot for both family gatherings and group dinners. Overall, Sam O Jung delivers generous portions, great value, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a solid Korean meal with excellent service and a welcoming vibe.

The food was flavorful and well-balanced, with comforting, authentic Korean tastes. The restaurant environment is clean, cozy, and relaxed, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always checking in and happy to help. The side dishes were impressive as well — fresh, tasty, and generously served. I especially recommend the kimchi stew, which was rich, hearty, and full of depth, perfect with a bowl of rice. Overall, it’s a great spot for Korean food with a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes next time. Highly recommended!

Visited Sam O Jung Korean Restaurant and had the Kimchi Stew along with Stir-Fried Pork Belly and Cuttlefish. Both dishes were absolutely delicious—flavourful, authentic, and perfectly seasoned. The kimchi stew had just the right amount of spice and depth, while the pork belly and cuttlefish combo was rich and satisfying. A great spot for anyone craving genuine Korean comfort food!

The service was excellent, and the food came out quickly. They had delicious fresh kimchi. I especially loved the kimchi pancake.

This is a really nice Korean restaurant to enjoy during cold weather. They offer a variety of complimentary side dishes, and the food is amazing. The tables and utensils are very clean and well-organized. The food is fresh and tastes incredible. I can’t wait to try other dishes next time!
